What kind of supplements and what is your goal?
A general rule to go by is to stick with the name brand supplements such as TwinLab, Weider and a few others. That is because supplements are not covered under labelling guidelines so they can pretty much put whatever they want in whatever huge or small quantities and make any claim. The big name brands actually have a reputation for quality and therefore something to lose if they produce a crap supplement.

Most of them are. Like I said, go with the name brands. It's been a while since I've been into supplements myself. TwinLab, Weider, EAS, MetRX and a few others I can't remember right off-hand. It's a matter of doing some homework on the others before you buy to save some money. Try to find some independant research (Muscle & Fitness and other mags have articles about supplements from time to time) or talk to some local bodybuilders, most are helpful but some can be real pricks.
Hope this helps.

The best way to bulk up is to eat more, more often.
watch fat and carb intake.
but if you want something to help a good protein supllememt will do no harm , maximuscle promax is pretty good, but any with a protin count of over 20g per serving is usually good,
for increasing muscle mass creatine is good for short term non-permenant effect as it 'forces' water into cells and increases the volume, which increases strength.
the effect of creatine can be maximised when taken with other supplements such as HMB and glutamine, both of which go toward halting muscle breakdown during excercise, a good supplement is met-rx mass action its fairly cheap and is an all in one.
try and steer clear of hormone and pro-hormanes at the moment your still pretty young and should have a healthy abundence of testosterone.
anything else just ask
