  • Help me get 6pack

I do a lot of crunches but they don't seem to be working well. I've been doing themf or past few months with not much results. Is there any other activities that may help me out here?

    thanks.

Check out a variety of different ab excercises and add them to your crunches.

6 pack abs are hard to get; you can have the muscles but a small layer of fat covers them. Doing cardio/aerobic work and a low fat diet is probably the best you could do.

aerobic exercises burn the fat around stomach. a good exercise is take a medicine ball, weights, ect. and put it on your chest. then do a situp up with it.

Yeah that layer of fat is annoying. But I'm too lazy to excersise and I like food too much to stop eating. Are crunches where you have your legs off the floor and hands behind your head and you do a situp but you just try to touch your knees with your elbows? If they are then my ab excersises are as follows:

          50 crunches
1 situp (sit up while you rest)
          rest
10 right side crunches (left leg out straight, touch right foot with right hand)
          10 left side crunches
          5 right side crunches
          5 left side crunches
          1 sit up
          rest
          lie back down
Hold legs out straight roughly 6" from floor
          hold for 10 secs
          raise legs
          hold for 10 secs
open and close legs a few times
          lower legs
          hold for 10 secs
          raise again
          hold for 10 secs
          lower again
          hold for 10 secs
          10 situps
Lean back to stretch ab area and get rid of some of the lactic acid
eat a fried egg + some almonds + drink some water
rest abs so that they can recover and grow

I do that every two days. Should be seeing an improvement any time soon...

what's the best way to harden your abs? don't worry about strength at the moment, just need advice on making them as hard as possible flexed and not.
