    Meditation is where you shut down certain ares of the brain simmilar to sleep but not the same.But the is an increase in activity in other areas.What sort of breathing exercises are you talking about?

      Ahh I can use the sensation when I use my throwing knife. I specialize in throwing it ina reletivley straight path (no spins). I'm preaty sure energy helps alot. Its a good mental exersize for me to use it. I understand the animal thing because when I raise some energy one of my cats purrs in tune. Like the stronger the sensation the more he purrs and vice versa. And I understand about the being a decent person thing. I figured that out preaty easily partially thanks to animals. Lol at a party once I was drunk an was lookin at these two dogs and using a little energy to help me visualize how I would kill them and eat them if i had to. Preaty sick huh? Lol well the dogs werent even lookin at me an they were at least 20 feet away. They both ran at me and barked like hell. Once was a pit so I was preaty intimated. Well being a reasoning person I put one plus one together and figured out what had happnend. I removed all traces of the malicious thoughts from my concience and they calmed down imediently. These dogs know me. I wase'nt a stranger to them. Then I played around by slightly raising a maliciuos intention to the same effect. But after a while they got bored. Anyways what I've learned from animals is that if you are a bad person creatures will instincivly see you as an enemy or someone to be feared. I luckely am a natuarly generous, forgiving and sympathetic person. So when I just use a little energy around my friends or other people I feel like I'm plugged in. Like I'm one with the group. From this I've determend that each of us has a part of our mind that constantly monitors all available stimulia from the senses. I assume this is the base of our intuition. This "monitor" probably also uses senses we have no scientifical knowledge of. This led me to experiment with energy in humans and I belive the same holds true to most on a subconcience level. So yea I knew what was up with the little kids liking me I just didnt say anything. Also pysical relaxation helps my relationship to people an animals. The less nervous the better. Also holding my centre is a good way to achieve the best usage of my talents. *shrug* I want to train in some combative styles so I can compete. I love fighting =). I would like to train in chi kung or whatever but I doubt I'll have the time or resources to do that and a combative art.

        There is some science behind what you talking about and the term is "collective unconscious".It explains how the human race came up with the same ideas even a world apart.Like how people the world over all sudenly discovered the mix of 1% tin in the mix to make bronze.There are areas of the brains function that we dont fully understand yet.This also helps explain how you can pick up on peoples sorrow or pain etc.

          The way fish and birds move in sync with each other can be seen in humans. Movements in groups of people corespond to each other within fractions of a second.

                Lift your arms up while breathing in then lower the arms while breathing out.Do it fairly slowly

                          I think what anbu means is that it rotates once before impact.The way you release dictates wether it willm rotate once or keep rotating.Regarding the breathing exercises its best to learn from someone.I would have a lot of trouble trying to expain chi gung without showing you.

                            You'd have a hard time in any case.

                            The number of rotations is a matter of physics, not Ki

                                I'm sorry let me clearify. I was responding to talk of using energy with weapons. I was saying that my throwing technique is not to hold the knife vertically (by the tip..you know what i mean) and throw in rotations. I cradle the knife kinda with my fingers and let it slide outa my hand using my finger to aim. Anyways I throw from the rear and can put all my force an momentum into it. I hit the best when I concentrate was all i was saying i guess. It was bad to start out the post with it...
