          right, been there done that. it's a learning experience. the sooner you loose the better. it makes learning sooner too. though that doesnt invaidate our advice.

            As long as you tried your best and learned. Now you know techniques they use, so you can both attain em and addapt em, then next time you should do tons better.

              Well Fanman the point is what you learned from the loss. Did you loose becuase of teh fear and/or your dedication to training. Even if you just met a superior athlete you should be able to take something for the match beyond "I lost" how long was the match, could you have worked harder in practice, did you not take teh match serious enough, did you just quit etc.

                Indeed I did learn from the experience. Maybe a Kung Fu guy like me just can't win at a kyokushin karate full contact tournament. oh well
