  • Real Fight Experiences!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For all of you out there who have had real fight experiences, this is your chance to post about it. What happened? How did you react? Were you happy with your ability to handle the situation with your MA skills, or were you dissappointed?

I myself have had a few experiences, one of which was as follows: One of my work buddies (who happened to be black) was driving me home one day, when i saw a wigger by the side of the road. I yelled out "f#!k you, get a f#kin life!" because this friend of mine hates wiggers, he says they're wasting their lives trying to be something they're not. However, I was surprised to see that he didn't smile or laugh or anything, I asked him why. Then he pointed at the red traffic light. "Oh, sh!t!", I thought, as i saw the wigger run over. I didn't have time to wind the window up before he reached in and started choking me. I mustered all my strength in order to open the door and stand up. I couldn't get out of his grip, and it was too close to do an effective strike, so i just grabbed his throat and squeezed. However, pretty soon my friend had gotten out, pulled him off me and said we don't want no trouble. The wigger then said to him, "hey, stay cool brother, and tell yo man here to learn to keep his mouth shut". He then walked away.
Reflecting on this incident, i was quite dissappointed. I wasn't able to think clearly and was not able to use my kung fu. I will have to train harder.

Anyway, now it's your turn. But I only want true stories. For once I have not made up any of my story or exaggerated on parts; I have stuck completely to the truth. And I hope everyone will do the same.
Looking forward to seeing some replies.

Your combined hand strength should be greater than his thumb. If he's close enough to choke, you're close enough to poke (or fish-hook).

                  Exactly.

Fanman: you sound like you deserved the shit choked out of you. I'm not much for "urban wear" for what it is worth but I don't go running my mouth to others who might not like my piercings or style of dress.

Tom...... He wants "true" fight stories.

Here's one: Tyrone got shanked in the heart (and bled to death). At the hospital they were able to resuscitate him but he had severe brain damage. He actually lived for a few years (with his feeding tubes). He is survived by his wife and Tyrone Jr. was born two months after his daddy was attacked.

Here's another: Mike woke up in the hospital and had no memory of the event at all. He didn't even remember beating the living crap out of the guy that ran him down with the F-250.

And another: Paul was on a five day meth binge and when he came home ready to burn out for a few days his wife shot him in the face with .410 Ga.

He lived but he's blind and nearly deaf now... The shotgun lobotomy made him quite humble...

Some of these sound drug related. Good points though.

I just kept quiet and still.

It wasn't a fight really, two guys came up in front of me and two more from behind. I was grabbed with some guys arms under mine and both his hands locked behind my neck and lifted off of the ground while the guys in front went thru my bag looking for money, I was worried they might do more but when they got what few dollars I may have had they tossed me aside. I was 17 at the time.

I don't know if I would have fought back if it had only been one guy.

Thats what happens to people who train Kung fu they get into a real fight they freeze. If you want to be tough in hand to hand situations do boxing, kickboxing,BJJ or Muay thai. Or you could always buy a gun

No offense, but thats b.s. . I took my kid to a Misfits concert in Hartford Ct., (The Webster Theater) I wanted to go because Mark Ramone was on the drums and one of my sons friends was in the opening act He plays guitar for the Black Albinos. Being a big Ramones fan from the late seventies early eighties I wanted and got Marks autograph on a T-shirt. Some punk with an attitude about twice my size ( wich isn't saying much, I'm all of 150 lbs at 5'8") Snatched my shirt. Well needless to say a fight broke out. I grabbed him by the liberty spikes and ragdolled his ass. My point is if you freeze, it's not because of your art, It's because of your level of confidence or your lack of experience. Don't carry a weapon if you don't have the knowledge or sack to use it and don't take a fighting posture against an agressor unless your prepaired to fight because you will get hurt. You may only have a split second to decide wether or not to fight, but once you make that critical decision, you need to act upon it fast. Never wait till the other guy throws the first punch because you may not get the chance to counter.
I do agree that boxing, kickboxing,BJJ or Muay thai, are all great arts based in reality. But if your training is not reality based your wasting your time. The only way to learn to defend yourself is by defending yourself. And I think that the BJJ guys out their will agree with me that if you dont learn how to take a stand up situation to the ground safely or should I say properly, you can get hurt. The same with kempo or any other art, If your learning to defend against a single front two knuckle punch to the center of your chest, instead of a flurry of punches aimed with the sole intent to hurt you, you've trained in vain.
