    I used to have a gym that I used to train at where I could play whatever music I wanted and I loved it. Nowadays though I can only do this in the back garden. This is ok but not quite the same. I play music like the following when I go running, cycling, or do bag work;

    1.C and C music factory. Every body dance now.
    2.Snap. I've got the power.
    3. The out there brothers. Ooh La la.
    4. Madness. Baggy trousers.
    5.James Brown. Sex Machine.
    6.DJ Dizzy Rock. It takes two.
    7.LLcool J. Mamma said knock you out.
    8.Ice T. Original Gangster.

    I have just started listening to Prodogy Experience album again, some of this rocks and is excellent in my oppinion for motivation. I still like NWA's old stuff like Straight out of Compton and Fvck the Police. This is purely because it to me is very aggressive RAP music that brings out the nasty side of me when doing bag work or shadow boxing.

    I find that different types of music is good for different types of training and I reckon that some Classical chill out tunes are excellent for chilling after a work out, stuff like Enigma especially.

        Hey, thats a bit harsh. It works for me and thats what counts. A lot of the music I train to holds sentimental value so don't get personal. Whats so special about your music selection that means you can diss mine?

        Oh and don't forget I was born in 1976 so I am a bit of an old fart when it comes to music.

          yeah that music does suck a bit ..(no offence but its kinda homosexual)..but hey..everyone has their own taste

          actually i listen to everything with a good rythm wether its intrumental hip hop or hardcore trash metal rock..just anything that moves..no lyrics preferably though..no gansta rap either..

          i like to train my footwork and my rythm through african drums beats..try it
