Tai Chi music will give you a quiet mind which will improve your reflexes and timing. Not the only music but just something to ponder.

I stay motivated when I listen to Zeppelin, Floyd, Clapton or GnR. Have to cycle through the entire collection.

I like to work out to various different songs. It gives me an opportunity to work on my tempo. Changing tempo and timing can be the difference between an excellent defense and a great defense. The mark of a Pro is the feint. You destroy your enemies' timing with feints.

Mostly the early gansta rap from the 90's, but some of the new stuff by the game, 50 cents and the rest of g-unit, some Likin Park, Eminem, 2pac & Thug Life, anything that gets me pumped up and in the right state of mind to conentrate

some progressive house, i would prefer a good set rather than just songs
hard house is good to, it helps keep consistency and you learn how to move around
