                  1. Good orthopedic (in the event something goes wrong)

                  2. An extensive collection of Steven Seagal, Kung Fu (Shaw Brothers especially), and Jean Claude Van Dam movies for references. These also make for great "one liners" to say to your opponent once you do get off a "killer move". Dont forget to pose when you're done.

                  3. A list of every bully and punk from kindergarden all the way to highschool who made your life a living hell. You will after all need to practice this on someone, right? (Option 2: A list of every weenie and classroom smartass that needed to be bullied or punked all the way from kindergarden to highschool. Validate your actions through Darwinism).

                  4. Has played and mastered one or all of these video games; Double Dragon (the game that made it legitimate to hit a woman), Time Warriors (often overlooked, but great nonetheless), Tekken (for you muscle headed freaks), Mortal Combat (This makes for a great reference to say "finish him" to your opponent-oh and dont forget to look to Luna), and Street Fighter (from original to vs. any Marvel superhero. Again, you can now say RYUKIN when hitting someone)

                  5. The ability to look past how stupid one looks practicing a move in front of the mirror (you know you've done it!)

                    Two - Technique
                    Three - Movement
                    Four - Precision
                    Five - COMMON SENSE.

While being able to take hits etc is a very important part of the martial arts, I would suggest that being able to avoid being hit by these punches, kicks, knees, elbows etc is just as, if not even more, important if you are to secure your survival in the world of street combat.
