Hello everyone.Yesterday I saw a dvd movie called Kiss of the Dragon.It was an entertaining but of course unbelievable movie with Jet Li.My question is,if anyone has seen this,is in the scene where Jet Li fights like 600 guys ina dojo using double sticks,is he using FMA.It looks just like escrima to me,but I was wondering if he is using kung fu and if kung fu has similar stick fighting techniques to FMA.Thanks

Well, friend, that's open for dispute. Nowadays, the martial arts are one big blur.
I am sure there are some FMA elements in it, but was Jet Li using FMA exclusively? That is unknown, unless you ask Jet Li yourself.
If I had to make a guess, I would say NO.
I would guess that Jet Li was simply using concepts from Wushu.
But again, who knows, maybe Jet Li had some private lessons with a FMA instructor. -

Why this Grand Master Gloria Blancia knowing very well Kung Fu is FMA woow i never hear that in whole world that someone doing the both very easily.
Dont be surpris about FMA what Jet Li doing with stick maybe Jet Li is chinoy possiblility now because this name of Jet Li came from Philippines.

The concepts of WUSHU is acrobat is gymnastics with Kung Fu coz the chinese are very good in gymnastics is acrobat.
Just watch this video from Blancia Family its very wonderful as demonstration with one stick. Im sure that soon everybody must to follow this new technique from Blancia Family. I appreciate them.

Everybody its first time that we saw this movement about FMA because this Blancia family nobody (Foreigner) knowing this name.
Before, i learn my Kung Fu during some years is after i learn FMA, i thinking why FMA theirs techniques is almost similar with Kung Fu techniques. Now I understand why.
