Personally, I prefer covert characte assassination to street fighting. It would have been more fun and satisfactory, and no one would have gotten hurt.

At least you saved those kids from blindly following an obvious fool. If they or their parents have any brains they'll find another dojo. Which, of course, will reflect badly on him. His master won't be pleased, leased of all because he taught his student poorly

Like i said before, you just have to know this guy to understand.
As far as being a "tough guy", i was never like this until he kept talking smack. Sooner or later, you just have to stop his talk.
And trust me, this guy aint dangerous. There was no risk going there (he used to be a friend). Biker, you were right, conditions were pretty controlled.
Well, you know what, I recorded the fight. Hopefully I'll put it on the internet so all can see...

sorry for the late reply as the fight already took place, but there's always someone else out there who thinks he's billy bad ass. here's what you do:
at the moment the fight starts, being the gentleman that you are, you shake his hand, but before you let go, you kick him in the nuts, really really hard, then you tell him, "you call that a hand shake? next time shake my hand like a real man!" not only did you bruise him physically, but also psycologically, and in front of his (and your) freinds.
he can't really do much, except nod (ha, ha,)
            happy hitting

                rorny,

sorry, but no matter what someone tells me, i cant respect TKD guys (most of em)

i thought my friend was a joke, and i was right haha.
Anyway, he woulndt even know how to use combat tkd, even if it does exist.

btw, "combat tkd" sounds like a paradox. I guess I was right about the "normal" tkd, it's simply RICE.

I think you blokes are talking too much theory. - I'm not referring to RG because I can't believe anyone really cares what he has to say. - But the basic question here is really the good old: Can a puncher, grappler, wing chun-man, or whatever beat a kicking specialist.

The answer is simple. If the TKD-mans kicks are really fast - so fast, that the other guy can't get inside kicking distance he can beat the other guy. If the other guys footwork is faster than the TKD-mans kicks, he can't. This providing they are both tactically good and don't get mislead by feints more than the other fighter.

Chances are that with average persons the footwork will be faster than the kicks. Watch different fighters - boxers, kick-boxers, TKD-men, whatever frame by frame on the video and it becomes obvious why.

                      Jee t; learn about reality.

First off, you probably shouldn't have accepted the challenge. But since you did. Just destroy the guy. There's a reason that TKD guys get no respect in the world of Reality training. They simply don't train in a realistic manner. Here are 4 guys to study their material. Richard Dimitri, Sammy Franco, Paul Vunak, and Demi Barbito. These guys are about as good as it gets. Learning basic
self defense really isn't THAT hard. Developing the right mindset IS. Remember this, take his sight, his ability to breath, or his base
and he's yours. There really is a scientific way to fight. Learn from any of the previously mentioned guys and you'll be light years ahead of most of the competition. Remember you fight only when you have no other choice. Learning how to say NO in a fight is the mark of a REAL warrior. Good luck with your training.

just to let you know, we decided to fight before I was pissed at him, just for "fun".

so when it got serious, so did the fight.
I could've backed out, but that would have caused years of his talk, and I don't like his talk.

when you feel comfortable and sure of yourself, there's no need to back down, but sometimes there IS a need to fight, it all depends.
