So I train in MMA once a week with a group that meets three times a week (can only go once a week because of my crappy schedule) and don't have a training partner right now, so I can't drill things as much as the rest of the class can. I thought it would be a good idea to at least be familiar with all of the classic moves in BJJ so that when I have to do them I will be a little less confused (even if I can't really practice them on my own). Is there a website or a good resource that has real good descriptions of all the basic submissions/escapes/reversals/etc.?
Also for people doing MMA, how/what do you normally train on your own? Shadow boxing, Thai kicks around a chair, basic conditioning at the gym... what else? What drills would you do on yr own?
