Most vital points are not allowed in competitions. Although it is critical that these be attacked in a streetfight. This is a very general listing.

      Not Really

In Pride today, Vale Tudo in Brazil and in UFC's 1-6 All but 3 of these strikes were legal; and I'm really not to sure about the UFC today because their pressure point rule is very vague. I do not see how this can be used as an excuse.

I've got notes on all the major vitals points of the body and how to hit them - angles and stuff, and what the result will be - i'll post it whenever i get the time. Got it all from [U}Dragon's Touch[/U], by master Hei Long. I recomend it 100%. It's like $20, but worth so much more...there's a 2nd book, but i haven't read it - got all i can handle out of the first.http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...844938-8067011

I was speaking of martial arts competitions as a whole. Furthermore, most pressure point attacks are in fact ILLEGAL... even in no holds barred competions.

"Furthermore, most pressure point attacks are in fact ILLEGAL... even in no holds barred competions."

Where do you get this? In Pride Japan and the Vale Tudo events in Brazil 27 out of the 32 targets shown in those diagrams are legal.

27 out of 32 means that 84% of the techniques are LEGAL. That means MOST OF THE TECHNIQUES ARE LEGAL. Show me the numbers to back up your claim.
