I recently read an interview with Mark Schultz stating that in his opinion Bayless was the best jiu jitsu practitioner he had ever rolled with. This is a significant statement in light of some of the people that Mark has spent time with on the mat. Whether or not his appraisal is accurate, the more I researched Bayless' name the more positive things I have read. What I have not found is the name of the instructor or instructors that helped build him to this level of ability. My questions: Who taught Walt Bayless? Does anybody else have any stories they would care to share? Thanks in advance.
