I would be suspect of his claim to older style of muay thai first off. I thought Winston from my recollection was a kung fu man. -

I would think that using an anvil as a punching bag, while it does sound bad ass, shows a lack of intelligence. Just my two cents.Comment

Well, Chris, 2400 dollars up front is alot of money. Its alot also if you dont know what you are committing to or whether you will fit in with the way the instructors teach or with the actual material--that all comes from experiencing the classes itself. Reading peoples minds or hitting anvils might seem cool or whatever but we all know what happens when it comes down to a real fight in real time. Using skill functionally is something that seems foreign to many people especially people who like to "sell".
If you are looking for muay thai specifically ask around and maybe you will have to travel a little out of your way but you'll save alot of money and get what you specifically want.
I dont know the school or the instructors, so I'll leave that for others to chime in on.Comment

Sorry I know this post is several months old but I did train with Keith for some time and found him it to be one of the hardest trainings I have taken part in. As a Sifu he was great and although his methods are very much "old school" - by which I mean do what I say or leave. If you can handle it the knowledge he has to pass down to good students is valuable.
Students who have trained with him for many years will attest that in KF, Muay Thai, External and Internal training he is a true Sifu. I hope to train with him again in the very near future.Comment

CHeck out extreme Muay Thai on Long Island. Extreme Lacosta, the founder, is a sick fighter and has a stable of very competitive, active fighters as trainers. I saw one of his guys, Andy Singh, light a Russian Thai boxer up last Friday night at Roseland Ballroom...Five Points Fitness put on a Russia Vs. USA fight at Roseland...pretty good show. Two female fights, two MMA grab ass guys in intermission, but otherwise some great balls out Muay Thai. Extreme is a good gym. I'd have gone there but I moved back into the city so now I train with Chris Romulo at Church Street and Velocity. He's a great guy, too, if you can make it into the city. Pro record 7-1, 6 by way of knockout. Super middleweight. Trained at Fairtex Banglpee for a few months before competing in the Bangkok Nationals (won Bronze). North American Amateur Champ, NY State Champ. And very nice guy, to boot. Lemme know if you're interested.Comment
