By the way guys...ummm....sorry for being a little "uninformed"....but....is there any books on Muay Thai/Kickboxing in any Barns and Noble or Halfprice stores?? Can anyone shout out some book titles and Authors?? .... I just want to get more informed by books and websites..since i really...really want to learn the arts.

Your best bet is to get out to a muay thai gym.

Tim Mousel, founder of the forum, teaches muay thai. He's a great instructor. Give him a call and set up an appointment.

        Daniel:
If you want Muay Thai itself then get training and join a gym like Tom Yum suggests. I dont think the books will help right now. I think just getting out there and learning some basics then practicing will go a longer way. There are a few books out like Muay Thai: A Living Legacy, The red book Book of Pahuyuth: Muay Thai by Panya Kraitus, and a couple of others available through barnes and noble and amazon but you need some instruction to grab the basics correctly. Eventually you come to find what you are looking for which is Muay Boran but the muay thai will go a long way in getting yourself into good shape with strong basics.
