Ummmm, maybe I'm missing the point, but wasn't that the goal of the video? Why would you emphasize NOT?

Because there are PLENTY of videos that tell you how you should fight, so i pointed out this one was different ....is that all you have to comment on?

But we see you did get the point, right?

Well some people are SO damn stupid that NOTHING ever brings them out of their little daydream of safety because they practice whatever MA it may be (and think that it makes them superman)....a little dose of reality can do some people some good....but there are those so stupid nothing ever gets through, so they spend their entire life as a nutthugger....

That wasn't reality though was it. It was a role play.

Well, sure, but isn't tht all martial arts training? Drills, full contact sparring, none of it is reality. Reality is going out and getting into a fight, getting assaulted, getting blindsided, etc, which is a pretty low-return method of learning in the long run, if that's all you do. Nothing wrong with a simulation.

this is why my instructor dave camarillo told us that one of the most important self defense techniques in jiu jitsu is posting with your hand and getting to your feet as fast as possible. keeping away from ground is most important.

One of the last words out of uncle Vu's mouth was "kina-mutai," which is essentially shredding the guy on top of you with your teeth. There's a bit more to it then that (knowing when and where to bite, and knowing how to take advantage of the instant of surprise to escape. That is what I believe comes next.

At least this phillistine seems to have a clue. I would very much like to train him. Can anyone tell me the way to Camarillo?
