Mohawk yay or nay?

So my mom owns a barber shop so I've fucked with my hair a lot over the past couple years, trying out weird hairstyles. Lately I've been thinking about getting a mohawk and was wondering would it hinder me in any way if i wanted to get a job or if I'm be working or interning as a research assistant? If I do get a mohawk will i be better off just getting a short one and not shaving the sides too much? Enlighten me!!!!!!

I wore one for years in spite of my wife hating it. LOL By-the-way I was not emulating chuck liddell I was emulating the Army Ranger haircut. Go for it, gals will either hate it or love it; I don't think there is a middle of the road for a mohawk. LOL
