No flowery dream world mystical bull shit.
Well im not sorry i asked, sounds like my kinda thing kicking ass, blood and guts! im not your average prissy flowery dream girl neither bucko, i can hold my own weight and inflict a lotta damage!
Emma, I never said you couldn't. But I do feel that there is alot of flowery crap in the Martial Arts. I never said it was anything to do with you woman! Touchy teenagers.... I don't know.
Spankster. As yet, not at all. I've not been on the streets for 2 1/2 years and, before that, I was into Grappling and a bit of Thai Boxing. So I have never fought with it.
I know beyond doubt I can use the grappling and Thai, I just wonder what will come to the fore next time I'm in need. Almost certainly the combatives, but you never know. I may well end up punching and roundhouse kicking my way through!
HOPE NOT, AFTER ALL THIS TRAINING!
Mind you, I also hope I don't kill anyone. There is not much scope for defeating someone without totally obliterating them in Combatives.
I wasn't being moody, damn the internet >.< it cant determine what people's voices say and how things are phrased lol!
Anyways i think ill just stick to my Kung Fu self defense class! i don't mind things like kickboxing, or karate or judo i just prefere something that has more behind it if that makes any sense plus the system was designed for women so yeah ive found it very beneficial to me!
So thai Bri don't always interpret things about me being moody i am the most chilled out teenager there is ok ^_~
Emma,
p.s please don't reply to this in a negative way because im not meaning it to sound nasty or negative in any sense!
Just because im dangerous to mess with dosen't mean im moody lol but your sense of humour kills me every time think i need to brush up on my skills lol.
Kajukenbo is much like JKD in the thought that whatever works incorporate it. Some schools especially those tied in with the original Emperado Method emphasize training for multiple attackers. A lot of practitioners train full contact, most kicks are never above the hip, grappling is taught as well, and kajukenbo has a tight relationship with different eskrima styles as well such as sayoc kali, estalilla kabaroan, arnis, etc. There are a few different styles of kajukenbo: Original or emperado method; gaylord method; Ramos method; chuan fa; Wun Hop Kuen Do; and Tum Pai. I prefer the emperado method but the others have a lot to offer as well.
