  • Learning how to use Excel

I am trying to do an assignment from my digital workbook, it tells me to go where I store my files and put in EX_2-1.xlsx. When I do this, it tells me that it cannot find it. I know I will be able to do the assignment once I get into the file. I just need help getting there. My instructor was not helpful, she just told me to download it, but there isn't a link to download it from. Can someone please help me with this?

If you're sure you've downloaded the file but can't find it, a good first step is to search your computer for “EX_2-1.xlsx” directly, just in case it was saved somewhere unexpected. Sometimes, files get saved in a different folder, like Downloads or Documents, without us realizing.Another tip is to make sure you’re in the right folder location when you try opening the file from within Excel. If the file still won’t show up, you might need to check if there's an issue with the file path. When I first got into Excel, I had a similar moment of panic. What helped me a lot was following step-by-step guides, and Excel.TV has some amazing resources for beginners that could make these small hurdles easier to handle.
