OOOOH, okay, I see what' you're sayin', yeah, that is true, however, you have to be really weak if you can't do at least one pullup and one 5 dips I think. Before I could ever do 50 pushups, I could still do 8 handstand pushups and 15 dips and walk on my hands and such.
But yeah, if you are that weak, weights are the only way to get you up to that point; sorry for mis-interpreting what you stated.
