  • anyone know anything about shin splints help would be very much appreciated

I attend a boxing gym 3 times a week and have recently found that i have got shin splints perhaps from running on hard ground or skipping, the doctor said i will need to see a phisio therapist and will probably have to rest it for a month, but does anybody know a quiker way to get rid of them theyre stopping me form training just as my trainer has told me i am almost ready for competition and i dont want to miss a single session, any ideas on how to get rid of shin splints would be greatly appreciated

    Shin splints

Sorry man, but the only thing that heals shin splints is time. There's really nothing you can do to make them disappear. Rest and let your body heal on its own, or train and suck it up. If you do decide to keep training, wear neopreen sleaves around your shins and use heating pads at night to increase blood flow. That will help recovery and speed up healing, at least a little bit.
