    Hiya,

I can only tell you what works for me...

I normally make and effort to eat pretty healthily the night before a class and I eat pasta of some description at lunchtime on the day of class. It provides energy and is well and truely digested by the beginning of class. I snack on biscuits or sweets about an hour or so before class and either drink water or lucozade during or before or after class. I have fainted before too - since doing this I don't!

But I expect I shouldn't be doing this at all

You should provide your body with carbohydrates and also stay hydrated. I think
From what I've read and experienced, try to drink about one litre of fluid before exercise and maintain throughout. Also, an energy drink like lucozade sport may be useful due to their isotonic properties.

well you should eat some fast corbos ( like banana, white bread, and so on)
drink a lot of water minimum 30 minuts before working out, recomandable is 1,5 hour and keep drinking untill you have finnished. do not drink cold water while working out. body temp water is easier for the body to accept.

you could also try some of theese boosters, but i havent tried theese, so i can't recomend them.

          Stop eating junk
          Eat plent of fruit
Dont drink water until you bust that will cause you to vomit

Arnold Swarchaneggar used to train until he feinted he said he woke up 5 min later and felt fine

You just pushed yourself thats all. Pushing yourself to the limit is what we all should be doing.

actually, cold water is absorbed just as fast as hot..unless you want to get into molecular density..but we won't. i drink cold water cause a little coolant feels better when working hard.

              Water

Drink cold water (NOT FREEZING COLD ICED WATER) cool water. A nice cool glass of water will refresh you, re-hydrate you and is more enjoyable.

I've started making my own 'special' drink.

Been blending 2 bananas, half a pint of milk and a bit of water (to thin it down).

I drink that an hour or two before a session then drink lucozade during and after.

The worst thing you can do is eat fried foods. I save fried foods only on the weekends. On all other days, I eat carbs for breakfast. For lunch, on days that I have class, I'll eat some extra carbs. Before class, it's ok to eat carbs, but sometimes you can burn out in the middle of class. Eat something like a balance bar before class, or power bar is good to. But don't get obsessed with carbs, you should also eat some protien.
Don't eat protien bars, or protien shakes before or after class. I tried it once, and felt horrbile. I don't know what happen, but generally protien should be kept for weight training, or other types of strength training. Eating 10 grams of protien is good before class. But make sure the food is digested.
