    hey all,

    my question is....... i seem to have extra fat in my pecktoral muscle
    ......... creating the illusion i have man boobys as gay as that sounds. What kind of stuff can i do to get rid of these slight and STUPID thing

    Gynocomastia is ONLY correctable by surgery. Femara, Arimidex, Tamoxifen or any other estrogen blocker/anti-estrogen will only help to prevent aromatization and further enlargement.

    Loosing some weight (bodyfat) can sometimes reduce the appearance, but I have NEVER seen anyone diet down enough that they were gone completely.

    The surgical removal of the fat and glandular tissue should prevent it from occuring again in the future however. You should be able to find a plastic surgeon to perform the procedure for anywhere from $3000 to $8000.       K i can tell you now that i am not A @##%ing d cup.... and am positive that it won't take that................. i am sure basic excersices can do it.............. jsut ened to know what works the pecks

        push-ups are good.

        if you have a bench press use it. But if you want more toned pecs and not big ones, do lot's of reps instead of big weights.

        I have man breasts as well. They used to be embarrasing but I don't really care anymore. Pecs are pecs. I just used to bench press a lot because football coaches dont know about good weightlifting procedures. Now I stick to running sprints and doing squats more than anything. But yeah. High reps. Like 100 reps 3 sets.

          Also try working the back while working the chest. Like if you do bench press, do some back rows or pull-ups. That will keep your body more balanced. You are only as strong as your weakest link, so work out your whole body so you don't get any imbalances.

          Lot's of body builders have huge chests and arms but tiny legs. Not good for a fighter. They can't move. Do lots of squats. Try about 100 without any weight. Then adjust accordingly.

            Acitic, you see this happen alot with guys that increase their diets to get bigger and work out alot. You can correct this by changing some things in your routine. Most of the time when you start to get "bitch tits" dips and decline bench press will help because the "bitch tit" part is the lower pectoral muscles. Alot of people work out bench and don't worry about decline or incline because they think it works the same thing.........it doesn't......you have to work all areas of the chest (lower, mid, and upper).

            What is your diet like? What is your workout routine like?

              I agree about the balanced workout, just don't do pull-ups for chest.....lol. I beleive you can work some areas harder and still have the others grow though.

              I read a clinical study one time where they took two groups and put one group working out souly on upper body and the other on lower body. At the end of six weeks they put them together and tested their gains. Granted that the upper body guys didn't have as much lower body strength as the lower body guys but they did gain strength. The whole thing is that when you work out and have the right amount of protein, amino acids, nutrients, etc.....you release the growth hormones in your body and it is going to grow.

                gynocomastia is actually breast tissue most men don't really have gyno they just have extra fat there a doctor can tell the difference by just examing the area's

                    i would say diet is bad now cuzz i am on summer break......... don't really eat right....i think i have had hot dogs 4 breakfast, lunch, and supper 4 nights this week......

                    just wondering what kind of workout do u do to work low,mid,and high chest??

                      incline works upper, flat works out mid, and decline works out lower.

                        i was agreeing with you in a sense that its most likely an excess fat issue. men tend to store fat in the abdomen and lower chest most guy's who get gyno(breast tissue) have been screwing around with steroids. not all but most, i would say rep out and don't lift heavy because it will just put on more bulk to the area and look even more like tits. and of course cut down a bit on your calories.

                          If it is just excess fat then stuff like decline bench and dips would help it and after a matter of time it would go away. If you got your "bitch tits" from steroids forget about it they won't go away. I had a buddy that had this problem (he had "bitch tits" naturally) and I suggested him coming to the gym and doing alot of decline and dips and in a couple of months you would have never known. O yea and cut down on the carbs and doing cardio was another suggestion I gave him.
