I can do about 17 chin ups and probably the same amount of pull ups. Right now I am trying to increase my chin ups because my friend can do 30 of them. It is mainly because he has 2% bodyfat. He is all muscle.

                      My height - 5'8"

                      My weight - 145

The most I ever did was 27 correctly done pull-ups (palms facing away, without kicks of any sort to build momentum) last year. I did it in weight training class with everyone watching and my record for the school still stands.

Recently considering I haven't worked out in a long time I can do almost do 15.

I gave my height and weight for some of you who know this stuff because I'm wondering if I'm either really strong or is that within normal range for someone of my weight.

                        Hi!
Anyone here ever done one hand pull up? I've seen Jet Li do 3.
I tried but couldn't keep my body balanced.

Any ideas how to train for one handed pull ups ?

I did actually manage 2 or 3 one handed chin ups once (palm facing me), but it's been ages since I tried. In theory I should still be able to (i'm 6'1'' and weigh only 150lbs), but I doubt it somehow....

                            One stone = 14 pounds.
