I thought akido was from Xing Yi's water element and jujitsu was from kum la sau, grappling from chinese KF.judo is a jujitsu girly spin off.
As for sanda, it only ever came out because of the mao revolution. CMA has been looked down ever since and exterminated by gunfire.Because of these movements, I look down on sanda as a traitorous movement, the final move to exterminate all CMA and their rich history.

oreanor, i don't think there are any members on here that would agree with your comment about Judo being 'girly' mate. There is nothing girly about Judo, in fact, in some ways its better to train in than some ryuha of Jujutsu in that with Judo there is full resistance sparring and any throws that slam a guy straight down onto the ground aint girly. whereas with JJJ you cant get too full on with moves that dislocate unless your partner is a bit brain dead and doesnt mind his shoulder being snapped out

As for the debate on exact versions of history, well thats debateable depending on version and tales/folklore etc.. if I were you, I would be inclined towards uncle HuSanYans' versions dude

Is it the weather down under or the gravity difference being in the southern hemisphere?

San Shou is derrivative of Muay Thai, and although muay thai was picked over to create it, San Shou is lacking...very much so.
Melchor Menor and Steele....are probably the only two top names of this art, but, hey, guess what they cross train in...?
Just like Kyokushin guys from the Karate camp...to do well standing up, they all at least supplement Thai.
The only stand up ring sport that can compete is Lethwei, from Burma, and some of the Phillipino Yaw Yan guys....but all that stuff is...well...muay thai, and if memory serves me right, when ever the muay thai guys fight the burmese lethwei guys annually BARE KNUCKLES...well..

Judo is also not to be laughed at...but I wouldn't go as far as to say it can contest Jiu Jitsu as an art. Sure, the throws are much more comprehensive, but it lacks the finnishing element.
Aikido on the otherhand...fun to watch, some elements can be incorporated into cross training...but otherwise laughable...I'm founding an Aikido club for my college as a way to get a martial arts club in, but I don't see it as an effective fighting art. A fumbling scrapper or brawler could easily work an aikido guy, because it relys too much on set movements or methods of defense.

I have heard that akido causes wrist damages, its that true?
Do agree with me that jujitsu is more violent than judo?

wrist damage? are you serious?? Dude, everything hurts joints. Running or jogging daily is bad for your knees and breathing the air in the city gives you cancer...live your life to the fullest, to hell with..."maybe...POSSIBLY...down the road you might have problems."

As for the judo- juijitsu violence thing...I don't understand where you're coming from with this. Every shove or push is violent. Some are naturally more dynamic...i.e. a judo throw versus fighting for a prone position...but that doesn't make it more or less effective...it's all about pulling the stuff out at the right time.
If your asking me which one I would choose for it's proficiency...I'd go BJJ or Shooto with standing Thai, and some Kali mixed in for the street. And all of this mixing with the JKD concept of taking it all in and discarding what doesn't work for me. (after I learn it and train it enough to become proficient at it, not going..."hey, this doesn't feel natural or right or flow." because that's how it all felt when I started out.
