I surprised they allow such weight differences in this game. Lesnar is grossly over the weight of many of the "heavy weights." I'm not sure how Couture qualifies for this division given his size and weight, but it doesn't come close to looking like a fair fight from where I'm at. I'd say given the circus like build on Lesnar, he'll probably take the win.

Randy always comes in with a game plan and sticks to it. There was a lot of the same chatter when he fought Sylvia in UFC 68 because of Sylvia's size - and then with Gonzaga in UFC 74 and we all know how that those out. Granted, Lesnar is WAY bigger, but my point is, Randy changed up what he had to do, came up with a plan and took care of business. I know Randy's no spring chicken but I don't think you'll find a much smarter fighter. I really really want Randy to win this. It won't be easy, though - he's gotta watch out for those 4XL fists of Lesnar's!!

Lesnar will have to weigh in at the limit of 265 (HW division is from 206-265). Randy will probably weigh in around 220. Lesnar will then probably walk into the fight pounds heavier. So yeah, big difference.

If Randy eats a clean hit that could pretty much be it. I'm sure we all remember the punch from Lesnar that sent Heath Herring doing backward rolls. I believe in a postfight interview he actually said that his skull got fractured from that punch.

I still hope Randy wins regardless, let's hope he does it safely.

As much as I'd love to see Randy win, retire on a good note, and put this freak of nature in his place...I just can't see it happening.

Had Brock not hit Mir in the back of the head (inexperience), he probably would have pounded him out right there.

And then the hit on Herring...

I don't know. I'm a big fan of Randy, but am hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. A lot of the "top" guys that we've all gotten to know so well have been losing lately...this is really only the beginning for MMA...there's a lot of good talent developing out there.

Awe, C'mon HB? You gotta realize the old gentleman is only doing it to make BROCK a bigger name... and a few bucks? It WILL be INTERESTING!

Him and Liddell made big names off each other now it's time for both of them to hang it up and coach full time.

OK as much as it pains me to say it....I knew it. Randy's style does not match up with Lesnar's at all and with father time creeping over his shoulder there was not much Randy could do.
It was a sad day today .

I called this right. How an event with this much of a weight difference between two fighters could have turned out differently is beyond me. Just hope Randy's not feeling too much hurt this morning.
