Actually seppuku, THERE ARE A+'s, IGCSE's which are part of the british system have A*'s.. And I would know I had my IGCSE's last year I scored a B average but my friends had A*s on their report card. And the report card comes from Cambridge University, a British university!

what are IGCSE's? that the same as GCSE? if so then yeah they have A*, i know that. im talking about A levels, not the exams taken at 16.
also knew cambridge was british.. was there last week after all. what does a report card from the uni have A level grades on it for?
thinking about it... is IGCSE international GCSE? A levels are GCS, no S there. the A levels ive taken very definately do not have an A+. The guy i know on full marks in physics really would have one othewise.
also the UCAS website where the applications are processed would give an option for A* on the part where you enter grades...

Yeah its international GCSE :P
I'm taking my AS's in january and june so I don't know about the A*'s in A Levels.
The report card for A levels is from the Edexcel board. But the IGCSE's come from Cambrdige University. I'll try take a pic of it.

dont worry about the picture mate, i dont doubt GCSE and IGCSE equate to the same thing. sorry about the confusion there. AS in january sounds familiar tho... ive got about 4 weeks before my first set of A2s. what subjects are you taking?
well done on the GCSE, B average is really quite good there.

nice pissing contest you guys have gotten into and ruined the topic
news flash men and women look at each other and want to be looked at 24/7(especially ever guy in the world he he he) (ever hear a guy say I feel so used it's never happened in the history of guys)Ok back on topic, most of the clothes women wear today are designed to show off their bodies i.e. the looking like I just stepped out of a club look that's now in every possible situation throughout the day, and as far as womens workout clothes need I say more. It's simple if you don't want to be looked at dress conservatively not that that would stop any red blooded american male such as myself if you're hot, I'm looking. Now it's a 2 way street though and ask you're self why women who aren't into martial arts/fighting would want to go ot kb, mt,mma or boxing events hmmmmm???? Perhaps it's the shirtless muscular testosterone type brute guys doing caveman stuff.Remember when a guy grabs the other guys trunks in mma thus exposing his ass how many chicks will wistle and say stuff in the audience LOL.in conclusion if you're a women and you're goood looking you're always going to get looked at no matter what situation you're in men are visual creatures(women too) so that's the way it is hopefuly they will be discreate about it.

It takes discipline to be able to read through that attempt at your power.

One more thing... Don't you think there's power involved in women feeling like they need to wear baggy clothes to get guys to leave them alone? They are being manipulated to dress badly.
Originally posted by Tom YumThis pretty much sums it up. Other reasons women dress to show off their body is power. Power of the flesh. Like the scene on Basic Instinct with Sharon Stone.

Originally posted by treelizardSee that's the thing, dressing conservatively just DOESN'T WORK.
Bottom line: this is a free country and women can wear what they please and they do. Ladies get together to go out and they look great.
Sometimes they do it to feel good about themselves, sometimes they do it for attention and other times they do it for power.

In any case, dressing differently hasn't worked for me. This is what has:
*Driving instead of riding my bike, riding my bike instead of walking ("by the time you see me, I'll be gone! You're the reason I'm travellin' on..." ok sorry, some Bob Dylan there.)
*Changing my routine (i.e. going to the gym at 1 AM instead of during "prime time" and not jogging past frat houses)
*Hanging out at home or amongst good friends instead of around mostly strangers in loud crowded places, esp. if I'm drinking
*Body language
*Awareness
*Strong verbal boundary-setting
*Picking up random large objects

I know this one woman that works out a lot. She used to play soccer and is going into fitness training for her degree. She got up to about 170 lbs benching (estimated), and you'd never be able to tell by looking at her that she could bench that much. She didn't have huge anything, but she was toned and solid. But that's about as big as her body could get, it hit a wall. And there was little she could do to increase that. Even when she was able to slowly add weight to her program, it didn't increase her size in the least.
And lifting heavy weights for a lower rep count builds more strength. Sure, it will increase size some, but it is not the best way to increase size if that's the goal.
Besides, women should work out and get fit for themselves, not for men. If you don't think its attractive, someone else will. And gender stereotypes SUCK.
