So, I live in a pretty gay-friendly town and a fair number of gay men seem to find me attractive (quickly moving on to my point);
There's a pretty big diference between somebody looking at you and then going about their business and having someone go out of their way to make sure you know they are looking. It's those guys that look, and then do a double take, and then walk over toward me and maybe follow me a few steps down the street that irritate me.
Lizard, would I be wrong to guess that women generally don't mind a glance here and there - it's the men who can't leave it at that who are making a bad name for the rest of us?
